The Story
The 2016 EPISODE is the commercial release of the proprietary Cabernet-led blend that Terlato Family Vineyards selected for the 2016 Premiere Napa Valley auction lot.
Cabernet leads with Merlot plushness, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc adding structure and lift. The same blend and winemaking philosophy used for the PNV lot was bottled for wider (yet still limited) release: 20 months in 100% French oak.
Producer notes describe EPISODE as deliberately rare — selected from a tiny slice of Napa holdings to yield roughly 400 cases. This is the regular commercial bottling of the wine chosen for Premiere Napa Valley — not the actual 10-case auction lot itself.
